It is made of a durable steel that is color coated with a black oxide. The clip measures 1.5" long and is heat treated for added durability and resistance from bending out of shape.

30 DAY RETURN POLICY

We do not make changes to orders after they are placed. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, we will accept returns and provide a refund for up to 30 days from the date your order is delivered. Returns must be in their original condition and not been used or if they have been used, a manufacturers defect.

We do not refund the original shipping cost or provide return shipping due to buyer's remorse or incorrect products ordered. Shipping cost for any issue not being a result of a fulfillment error will be the responsibility of the customer.

Once you receive your RMA number which will expire in 30 days, package your product for shipping and inside include a copy of your receipt. A credit will be issued to your original form of payment within 3-5 business days after receipt of your return.

Your product is a precision device and if your purchase fails at any time within one year from date of purchase, with a proof of purchase and a photo of the product, we will replace your product with an equal model. If at any time after the 12-month warranty period ends and your product fails to perform, we offer a Lifetime Service Policy.

Upon further consideration

I really wanted to like this product, and when their email asking me for a review arrived I had good things to say. After actually spending some time with it I have found myself very disappointed in the plastic construction, specifically the small plastic rod that holds the reel to the belt clip. In the roughly three weeks I have had this it has snagged and pulled apart three times, this most recent time when it hit the ground the entire case busted open and my new heavy duty badge reel is now in the trash

Great product

Until now it's been the best product I've bought, it's very strong, it has survived unexpected harsh pulls and hits. The only issue and the only reason I don't give 5 stars is that is pretty big and long, so it hangs way too much, and if you're walking fast or running it's jumping all over the place, maybe the belt clip was a better option for me.

Works well enough

I bought this item to have a sturdier carabiner for my work badge. It is sturdy and does not seem like it will break any time soon. The reel has a lot of tension compared to other carbiners, which I don't really like. And it is longer than I expected - the length causes your badge to swing quite a bit. It will hit walls or anything you are close to regularly. It does the job, but I'm not completely satisfied with it.
